Remember when some rival fans said that Tom Izzo was washed up or the game had passed him by? Yeah, that looks a little ridiculous right now as the Michigan State basketball coach is recruiting at a higher level than he has in years.
In fact, he just landed the No. 4 recruiting class in college basketball for 2023 and he already has two four-stars committed in his 2024 class in Kur Teng and Jesse McCulloch.
And he’s not done yet.
According to a report from 24/7 High School Hoops, Michigan State is one of the schools reaching out the most to five-star shooting guard Isaiah Elohim from Sierra Canyon in California.
