INDIANAPOLIS — For the first few days after he ruptured the Achilles tendon in his left leg, Felton Davis confined himself to his bedroom.
He kept the door to his room closed. He didn’t accept visitors. And he didn’t return any of the 400 or so text messages and 200 or so missed calls he estimates he received on his cell phone.
“I just sat in there,” Davis said Friday at the NFL combine.
