Tyrone Wheatley was one of the best athletes in Michigan high school history.
Along with being an all-state athlete in football and basketball, Wheatley became the first track athlete in the Lower Peninsula to win four individual state titles in one season when he led Dearborn Heights Robichaud to the Class B state crown.
