The skinny: Who would have thought the Spartans and Cornhuskers would have been tied in the Big Ten standings at this point of the season? Nevertheless, MSU is coming off two straight loss, the second of which was Sunday in Madison, Wis. The Spartans will be without starting point guard Tum Tum Nairn, who's battling plantar fasciitis.
