Michigan State could have a not-so-secret weapon ready for its visit to Notre Dame this weekend.
Coach Mark Dantonio told Paul W. Smith this morning on WJR-AM (760) that linebacker Ed Davis might be available when the eighth-ranked Spartans face the No. 18 Fighting Irish on Saturday in South Bend, Ind. (7:30 p.m., NBC).
“We gotta get him on the field now,” Dantonio said. “He’s got a couple things he still has to work through, but the possibilities are there for him to play against Notre Dame, and we’ll see how it all shakes out.
