Michigan State is heading into Saturday’s matchup with Central Michigan still looking for revenge over the loss in 2009 in which the Chips marched into East Lansing, Mich., and came out with a huge road upset over the Spartans, 29-27.

The last time there was a Central Michigan vs Michigan State contest, however, was 2012 when the Spartans traveled to Mount Pleasant and pounded the Chippewas 41-7 with Andrew Maxwell still leading the offense. It’s crazy to think that 2012 was the last season in which the Spartans finished with less than 10 wins.
