EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State guard/forward Miles Bridges has been selected as the Big Ten Co-Freshman of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Monday. Bridges averaged 20.0 ppg, 7.5 rpg and shot 73.7 percent from the floor and 75.0 percent from 3-point range in two games last week and shares the honor with Penn State’s Mike Watkins.
Bridges earns his third Freshman of the Week honor of the season, having also won the award on Nov. 14 and Nov. 28.
Bridges led MSU to a win over No. 24 Minnesota with a game-high 16 points on 5-of-7 shooting from the field to go along with six rebounds and four blocks.
