Notre Dame added another highly-ranked recruit to its 2018 class and it came at the expense of Michigan and Michigan State.
Ovie Oghoufo, a 2018 linebacker from Farmington Hills Harrison, announced via Twitter Friday afternoon that he is verbally committed to Notre Dame. Earlier this month he told Maize N Brew that his top three schools were Michigan, Michigan State and Notre Dame.
At 6-foot-3 and 207 pounds, Oghoufo is a four-star prospect, the No. 5 player in Michigan, No. 22 outside linebacker and No. 271 recruit overall in the 2018 class, according to 247 Sports Composite rankings, and has 17 total offers.
