EAST LANSING, Mich. - There will be a temptation to draw conclusions from the manner in which Connor Cook's White team defeated the Green of Shilique Calhoun, 9-3, in Michigan State's annual spring-practice-ending, intra-squad game Saturday afternoon at Spartan Stadium.

While the Spartans were split up with a sandlot-style draft of players three days earlier, questions will undoubtedly be posed about their readiness for 2015 based on the outcome alone.

What are we to make of an offense that produced just one touchdown, and relied on All-America center Jack Allen to score it on a 3-yard run from the fullback position?
