Tom Izzo is hot on the recruiting trail once again as he’s been following 2016 recruits Miles Bridges as well as Detroit point guard, and four-star, Cassius Winston. Many people believe Winston is headed to East Lansing to join one of the best programs in the nation in Michigan State.
After a loss in the Final Four to Duke, Izzo vowed to change his recruiting ways and go after the kind of one-and-done guys he wouldn’t have touched in recent years.
While Winston isn’t likely a one-and-done type of player, as he’s ranked No. 25 in the class by 247Sports, but even guys like this ranked in the top 50 in the nation that Izzo has had trouble snagging in the past few seasons.
