Losing out on Caleb Swanigan hurt Tom Izzo and the Michigan State Spartans a bit. It seemed like they would have one of the top teams in the nation heading into 2015, but the de-commitment and decision to switch to Purdue changed all of that. Now, the Spartans could be looking at another top 2015 recruit, a re-classified shooting guard by the name of Jamal Murray.
Murray is one of those guys who may reclassify to 2015, but hasn’t yet made a college decision. Kentucky and Oregon seem to be the overwhelming favorites to land the Canadian high school star, but Michigan State is still on the radar.
