3 Players Who Stood Out At Michigan State Fall Camp

The start of the college football season is nearly here. Fall camps have wrapped up, with some players standing out more than others. The Michigan State Spartans need a few players to step up if they want to make a run at a College Football Playoff berth. Here are three players who stood out at Michigan State fall camp, according to mlive.com.

Demetrious Cox, CB

The redshirt junior has only started one game in his career, but big things are expected of Cox. He should start at cornerback this season, although he can play safety if needed. Michigan State has had a run of talented CBs lately, and Cox could be the next one.

Lawrence Thomas, DL

He started all 13 games last season, recording 30 tackles. He could be even better this year. He can line up at defensive tackle or defensive end. He'll be a dangerous threat all season.

Riley Bullough, MLB

Bullough started one game last season, but the junior is now the starter at middle linebacker. MLive.com also calls him the "undisputed leader" of the defense. The younger brother of former Spartan MLB Max Bullough, big things are expected from Riley this season.
