Since 2018, the Braves own a 44-20 head-to-head record against the Marlins (and swept them 3-0 in the 2020 National League Division Series). They enter Monday with a five-game lead in the NL East and a run differential that’s 114 runs better than the next-closest team, and that’s despite spending significantly less on major league payroll than the Phillies, Nationals or Mets.
