NL West Notes: 19- year-old Urias falters in debut, Arenado frustrates Giants

19-year-old Julio Urias was all the talk when he starred for the Dodgers Triple-A affiliate in Oklahoma City. After making his major league debut for Los Angeles on Friday night, many would describe the outing as valuable experience at the highest level, and nothing more.

Urias was thoroughly unimpressive in his debut, lasting just 2 & 2/3 innings while giving up three runs and struggling to consistently throw strikes. Manager Dave Roberts pulled him during the third inning, leaving the youngster to reflect on a first impression gone sour.

Even though the hyped outing did not go Urias' way, his stats from his abbreviated appearance are almost identical to another ugly start by a Dodger pitcher we all know and love.
