Marlins Place Justin Bour On 15-Day DL, Call Up Don Kelly

NEW YORK (CBSMiami/AP) — One of the Miami Marlins hottest hitters will have to take some time off as the team tries to keep pace in the National League playoff race.

The Marlins placed first baseman Justin Bour on the 15-day disabled list with a sprained right ankle and called up utilityman Don Kelly from Triple-A New Orleans.

The 36-year-old Kelly played first base Wednesday against the New York Mets, his first major league start since April 12, 2015.

Bour is batting .268 with 15 homers, 46 RBIs and a .347 on-base percentage. He rolled his right ankle while racing to first base on a grounder Saturday against Atlanta.
