Felo Ramirez Bobblehead Day will go on without him as beloved radio broadcaster for Marlins remains in Delaware hospital

LOS ANGELES -- Felo Ramirez, the beloved Spanish-language radio broadcaster for the Marlins, won’t be attending his own Bobblehead Day at Marlins Park on Sunday. Ramirez, 93, remains in a Delaware hospital, recovering from injuries sustained April 26 during a Marlins road trip to Philadelphia.

“Progress has been slow,” said Marlins communications executive P.J. Loyello.

Loyello said the Marlins still plan on going forward with Felo Ramirez Bobblehead Day, but with an extra touch.

“Fans will able to sign a huge ‘get well card’ for him that will be located behind home plate,” Loyello said.
