Elieser Hernandez, who joined the team for a rehab stint, struck out four over a three-inning start, walking two but allowing zero hits. Hernandez put 28-of-44 pitches in the strike zone. Nick Neidert pitched the final six innings, shutting the Tides out on six hits and zero walks. He struck out four batters and placed 51-of-77 offerings in the black. Neidert goes to 2-0 for the season, while the Shrimp improve to 9-4.
