Big news for the Miami Hurricanes broke minutes ago when CB Dee Delaney announced via his Instagram account that he would be coming to The U as a grad transfer in 2017.
Getting Delaney is big for Miami, who needs CBs that can play right away in 2017. Delaney is a high caliber player, ending the 2016 season with 35 tackles, 8 PBUs, 6 interceptions, and being named an FCS All-American.
Delaney’s addition bolsters the Canes’ secondary. He will join returning lettermen Sheldrick Redwine and Malek Young, along with 2017 signees JUCO CB Jhavonte Dean and 4-star CB Trajan Bandy at the cornerback position for the Canes.
