Late on Wednesday night, Southern Cal safety Bubba Bolden announced his commitment to transfer to the University of Miami.
Co-DC/Safeties coach Ephraim Banda seems pleased by this news.
Bolden was everybody’s All-American in High School. He made 2016 Parade All-American first team, Prep Star All-American Dream Team, Max Preps All-American first team, Tacoma News Tribune Western 100, Orange County Register Fab 15 first team, USA Today All-Nevada Defensive Player of the Year, Las Vegas Review-Journal All-State first team and All-Southwest League as a senior. That’s good. Damn good.
Starring at Las Vegas (NV) Bishop Gorman, Bolden was the #7 Safety, the #3 player in the State of Nevada, and the #59 player overall in the class of 2017.
