Tight end Jackson Carver commits to the Hurricanes

The Hurricanes made a lasting impression on 2023 tight end Jackson Carver when he came to Florida.

The Indiana native committed to Miami after taking an official visit to Coral Gables over the weekend, announcing his college choice on his Twitter account on Tuesday.

Carver, a 6-foot-6, 220-pound tight end picked Miami over offers from Auburn, Florida State and Iowa, among others.

Carver has played only one season of high school football, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune. He previously focused on ice hockey and lacrosse, and he was committed to play lacrosse for Notre Dame.
