Miami players head into draft confident they can prove themselves if given chance

One of the eyebrow-raising questions of last year's NFL draft was how a Miami team that was coming off just its third losing season in more than three decades could produce such a talented draft class.

The Hurricanes had seven players drafted off that 2014 squad with two — offensive tackle Ereck Flowers and wide receiver Phillip Dorsett — going in the first round.

For Miami, this year's crop of draftees isn't expected to be as deep, but some of the Hurricanes with NFL dreams say that matters little to them.
