Hayes scored a career high 24 points and also had eight rebounds. Motley scored 17 and Thomas finished with 12 points, for rebounds and six assists.
Miami is currently 18th in the women’s RPI as they get ready to head to Myrtle Beach for the ACC Tournament. With seven of the top 17 teams in the country, the ACC was the most dominant conference nationally this season.
Miami played ten games against ranked teams this season. All but two of those games were against ACC teams. They opened the season with a loss at then number 19 Kentucky and won nearly three weeks later at then number nine/10 Ohio State in the Big Ten-ACC challenge.
