Miami enters Tuesday night game off of two wins last week. The Hurricanes defeated Rutgers 73-61 in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge on Tuesday Night at the Watsco Center and then defeated Wofford 74-57 Saturday at American Airlines Arena.
This will be Miami and South Carolina State’s third meeting. They split the first two match-ups. Miami won 91-54 in December 2009 and the Bulldogs won 60-50 in December 2004. In the 2009 meeting, the Hurricanes tied a school record with 15 made three-point shots.
South Carolina State belongs to the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference. This will be Miami’s first game against a MEAC team since they defeated Howard and Savannah State by an average of 33 points in 2014.
