Miami Hurricanes Baseball Needs to Wake up the Bats

Two runs! That is all the Hurricane Baseball team was able to amass in three games vs. the second ranked Florida Gators. The Miami pitching staff did its job in the first two games limiting Florida to three runs total.

If it wasn’t for Romy Gonzalez’s two solo home runs in the series finale, Miami would have been shutout in all three contests. Obviously the Hurricanes would have enjoyed the opportunity to have Gonzales bat out of order if they could. Unfortunately, the NCAA sort of frowns upon that sort of thing.

Miami historically does not play well vs.
