After four tackles, a sack, a pass breakup and “a big tackle where it really felt like we had to change momentum kind of get the defense back going again and got everybody fired up on that sideline” according to head coach Manny Diaz, Keontra Smith could be the playmaker the Miami football team needs at linebacker.
Smith moved from striker to linebacker this spring after he signed with the Miami football program as safety in 2019. Miami returns starting middle linebacker Bradley Jennings Jr.
