The Miami Basketball women join three other ACC teams including one-seed Louisville, two-seed Notre Dame, and two-seed North Carolina State. Teams that are chosen as one of the first 16 teams by the NCAA Selection Committee have the advantage of hosting the first and second rounds of the NCAA Tournament between March 22 – March 25.
As it stands, Miami would then head to the Albany, New York regional location and on to nearby Tampa, Florida for the Final Four set to take place April 5 – April 7.
The Hurricanes will have the chance to further impress the Selection Committee on Sunday, as the Canes travel to face a tough Louisville Cardinals squad ranked number two in the AP Poll and currently pegged as a one-seed in this release.
