When it comes to picking who will win the two divisions in the Atlantic Coast Conference, the media hasn’t exactly fared too well of late – especially when it comes to choosing the winner of the often-chaotic Coastal Division.
So maybe it’s not exactly a bad thing for the Hurricanes that Miami was tabbed to finish second in the Coastal this year.
The Hurricanes, who are coming off an 8-5 season in which they went 5-3 in conference play, were picked to finish behind preseason favorite and defending Coastal champ North Carolina in a vote by media members in attendance at last week’s ACC Kickoff event in Charlotte.
