Miami Heat forward Jimmy Butler has been ruled out for Sunday's game versus the host Detroit Pistons due to a right foot contusion.
Butler, 34, has team-leading averages in points (21.4), assists (4.8) and steals (1.4) in 47 games (all starts) this season. The six-time All-Star collected 14 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals in 31 minutes in Miami's 108-95 victory over Detroit on Friday.
Rookie Jaime Jaquez Jr., Haywood Highsmith and Caleb Martin likely will see additional playing time in the absence of Butler.
