After posting a 52-30 regular season record, they wound their way through the postseason with a six game series win against the Chicago Bulls, a five game win over the New Jersey Nets, a six game win against the Detroit Pistons, and a six-game victory over Dirk Nowitzki and the Dallas Mavericks.
