The Miami Heat are a possible landing spot for Derrick Williams, which doesn’t make much sense.
Derrick Williams, the former second overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, hasn’t lived up to his potential. The Minnesota Timberwolves traded him after two and a half seasons to the Sacramento Kings for Luc Mbah a Moute and he hasn’t done much in Northern California.
He’s not a bad player by any means but, now a free agent, the life of a journeyman seems to be in his future. ESPN reports indicate that the Miami Heat could be the next team on his journey.
