In averaging 11.8 points, 10 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game, Hassan Whiteside showed that he's a big part of the Miami Heat's future moving forward. Whiteside seems like the kind of center a team absolutely needs in today's NBA. He can destroy opponents on the pick and roll and, on the other side of the court, blow up a team's primary actions by patrolling the paint.
But as problematic as Whiteside can be for opposing teams, his contract situation could put the Heat in a bit of a pickle moving forward, Bleacher Report's Luke Petkac writes.
