Chris Bosh to sit out NBA All-Star Game, Three-Point Contest with strained calf

It was supposed to be a triumphant homecoming of sorts for Chris Bosh, a year after battling blood clots on his lungs, to not only return to playing basketball at a high level but to able to play the All-Star game back in Toronto where he played for the Raptors.

But instead Bosh will be unable to play because of a strained calf. Atlanta Hawks big man Al Horford will instead take his place in the 2016 NBA All-Star Game and Portland Trail Blazers guard CJ McCollum will fill the vacant spot at the 2016 Foot Locker Three-Point Contest on Saturday, Feb.
