A recent article from NFL.com listed a player from each team who had a chance to be named MVP at the end of the season. Ajayi was listed as ‘unlikely’ as he would have to have a great campaign to even consider consideration for the award. The last time a running back won the reward was in 2012 as Adrian Peterson was named the NFL’s most valuable player.
