The Dolphins defense was bad last season as it had it's worst statistical season in franchise history. The team wanted to improve that unit heading into free agency and the team managed to fill some needs. The team was able to keep Andre Branch and Kiko Alonso, while also extending Reshad Jones. Lawrence Timmons and Nate Allen signed with the team and the Dlphins got William Hayes from the Rams for almost nothing. Have these moves made the unit better? We'll just have to wait for the regular season to find out.
