Two days before the Miami Dolphins take on the Minnesota Vikings, the team still wasn’t ready to totally rule out Xavien Howard. The Dolphins are listing their No. 1 cornerback as “doubtful” for Sunday against the Vikings as he recovers from a left knee injury.
Howard didn’t participate in practice at all this week, but was out on the practice field Friday before the team departed for Minneapolis. Wearing workout clothes, Howard went through ladder drills during the 30 minutes of practice open for media viewing. The defensive back tested his lateral agility as he tries to keep his absence as brief as possible.
