Shaq Barrett will be remaining in the Sunshine State, although he will be heading South.
NFL insider Jordan Schultz reported that the linebacker would be signing with the Miami Dolphins in free agency.
Barrett's contract is for one year and worth up to $9 million, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN, who spoke to Barrett's agents.
This comes after a five-season stint with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers that saw him contribute to a Super Bowl victory in 2020 and earn two Pro Bowl nods and an All-Pro designation in 2019.
