There are places that can feel like home to people who have never lived there before, mostly because certain elements combine to make them feel comfortable. "The weather is always nice," Alonso explained to the Sun-Sentinal in a recent video feature. "It's got great food."

Alonso sat down with reporter Kim Bokamper to enjoy Cuban food. Alonso's father, Carlos, is Cuban, though he grew up mostly in Puerto Rico.
