Assuming Jason Fox doesn’t play in Saturday’s preseason dress rehearsal game against Atlanta because of a concussion, there’s a very real possibility that Dallas Thomas starts at left tackle.
Coach Joe Philbin said there are several possibilities, including moving right tackle Ja’Wuan James to the left side or starting Jeff Linkenbach at left tackle.
But Thomas has spent much of practices this week lined up at left tackle and seems like the most realistic option right now.
Thomas has struggled in the past at both guard and right tackle. Coaches have praised him this offseason at left guard.
