Dolphins owner Stephen Ross has 'good expectations' this season

DAVIE, Fla. -- One year ago Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross laid down the gauntlet by demanding that his team make the playoffs. Instead, the Dolphins floundered amid high expectations with a 6-10 record, and former head coach Joe Philbin was fired just four games into the season.

On Friday, Ross was more guarded about this year’s group.

“I think that our expectations are great, but at the same time, I want to be realistic,” Ross said before the opening of training camp. “I’m not making predictions. I like where we are, let’s put it that way.
