Rookies will report for their mini-camp starting this week but unlike past rookie camps, the players first time on the practice field will be in street clothes just to say they walked on it. Miami’s camp will not include any sort of practice at all. Instead, the Dolphins are taking an educational approach.
The Dolphins will walk the rookies through class and film work and will also “educate” them on the jump to the NFL. These extra classes will help them understand their new financial situations, how to talk to the media, and so forth.
