As it turns out, Dolphins owner Steve Ross was misquoted regarding his comment about looking for a new coach if the Dolphins don’t make the playoffs in three years.
Ross, who was widely disparaged for what he said, wasn’t referring directly to newly-named coach Adam Gase, if you listen to the full comment.
Ross was talking about the tone of the NFL, in general.
