Miami Dolphins defensive end Dion Jordan was conditionally reinstated by the NFL on Friday. The 26-year-old is scheduled to return after missing the entire 2015 season due to a violation of the league’s substance-abuse policy. His return is predicated on passing a re-evaluation, which will take place before the start of the season, following counseling.
Jordan, who was also suspended for the first two games of the 2014 season and another four games later that same season, will look to turn this third “second” chance into a productive season.
