The Miami Dolphins are fine-tuning the roster the day before training camp's practices begins, which is 8 a.m. Thursday morning.
The Dolphins signed defensive tackle Calvin Barnett, receiver Kai De La Cruz, and offensive tackle Chris Martin on Wednesday, and waived defensive tackle Ellis McCarthy.
There is a possibility that receiver DeVante Parker, the former Louisville standout who is the team's first-round pick, could be placed on PUP list this week, which would not only prevent him from participating in training camp, but create a roster spot.
Parker has spent the past two months in a boot because of a screw he had replaced in his surgically repaired right foot back in early June.
