Tigers Fall To Cincinnati Saturday Afternoon

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis women's basketball team fell at home Saturday afternoon to Cincinnati by a score of 66-59. Memphis falls to 8-9 on the year and 1-3 in American Athletic Conference play. Three players scored in double-figures for the Tigers, led by Brea Elmore's 16.

How It Happened
Cincinnati took an early lead over Memphis, but a 7-3 run capped by Taylor Barnes' first three-pointer of the game tied up the game at 13-13 with 1:58 remaining in the first. There were two more ties in the next two minutes as the teams finished the first 10 minutes of action tied at 17-17.
