TAMPA, Fla. – Memphis got 17 point efforts out of Dedric Lawson and Avery Woodson; however, the Tigers shot just 37 percent from the field and hit half of their 20 free throw tries in an 80-71 loss against the University of South Florida at the Sun Dome on Saturday morning.
Lawson recorded his 13th double-double of the season and fifth straight with 10 rebounds, while Ricky Tarrant Jr. added 10 points. Nick Marshall scored nine points with eight rebounds off of the bench, while Tarrant dished out a team-best four assists.
