TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – University of Memphis junior and senior paced the Tigers women's and men's cross country squads, respectively, at the University of Alabama's Crimson Classic Friday evening.
The race gave Memphis an opportunity to run on the Harry Pritchett Running Park course, which also is the host site for the NCAA South Regional where the Tigers will compete in November.
The women's squad placed 12 in the 5k event, and the men were 20 in their 8k race.
Rodriguez Sala was the Tigers women's top finisher, crossing the line in 37 place in a time of 17:58.
