SACRAMENTO, Calif. – For the second-straight day, University of Memphis freshman was in action at the 2017 USA Track and Field (USATF) Outdoor Junior National Championships Saturday. Sacramento State's Hornet Stadium is the site of the juniors national meet.
Neelly competed in the men's discus and finished 14. He had a throw of 156-3 (47.64m), and it came on his second attempt.
On Friday, Neelly also placed 14 in the men's shot put with a 57-2 (17.42m) throw. The throw was his second-best of the outdoor season, falling shy of his season-best 57-7.75 (17.57m) mark.
