Men’s Soccer Tabbed Eighth In Preseason Poll

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis men's soccer team has been selected eighth in the American Athletic Conference Preseason Poll as voted on by the league coaches Tuesday morning. Memphis finished in a tie for seventh place last season with a 2-4-1 conference record and the Tigers were 8-8-1 overall.

UConn, with four first-place votes, was selected to win the AAC. Tulsa was selected second and USF rounded out the top three.

Sophomore midfielder Jackson Morse, the top returning goal-scorer from the 2016 season, was named to the Preseason All-Conference Team. Morse finished with six goals in his freshman campaign and was named to TopDrawerSoccer's Top 100 Freshman list.
