Memphis and USF Split Sunday Doubleheader

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis got back in the win column with a 5-1 victory over USF in the second game of Sunday's doubleheader at FedExPark. The Tigers (22-19, 4-8 AAC) dropped the series, losing the first game of the doubleheader 11-6 to the Bulls.

The pitching duo of Jonathan Bowlan and Colton Hathcock were dominant in the series finale for the Tigers. Bowlan started and pitched six innings and allowed just one run on four hits. The sophomore struck out five batters and picked up the win to improve to 4-4 this season.

Hathcock came out of the bullpen in the seventh inning and finished the game to record his 10th save of the season, which ranks third in single season saves at Memphis.
