Kenneth Kauker scored an equalizer in the 63rd minute to earn Memphis a 1-1 draw with Lipscomb Sunday evening in Nashville. The Tigers now turn their attention to the regular-season opener Friday against UAB at 7:00 p.m. at Mike Rose Soccer Complex.
The Tigers trailed just after the 30-minute mark of the first half when sophomore Ivan Alvarado scored on an assist by redshirt freshman Logan Paynter.
Redshirt sophomore Jake Leeker made the start in goal for Memphis and played the entire match. He made four saves in the match and allowed the one goal.
